2023 Walk A Thon
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our bigest event. Parents, Grandparents and Teachers worked hard to make this event complete. The children had a lot of fun and have raised almost $42,000.

As you know, the Walkathon is coming up on 4/21. As in prior years, we have scheduled the event on a holiday in order to maximize parent participation. We know how important it is to parents to be able to attend this event. The Walkathon is our biggest fundraiser and maximizing participation is absolutely vital to its success. I hope we can count on our class parents to help serve as cheerleaders in order to encourage fundraising participation by all!
As in prior years, there is a dedicated walkathon t-shirt, which can be used on gym days as well. Thanks to Chloe Lirarakis for this year’s wonderful Keith Haring inspired design!
All t-shirt orders must be in before Easter break. Please remind your classes to put their t-shirt orders in as soon as possible using the following link:

Tee signs are a great way to help support the Walkathon and we hope you will choose to invite the businesses you support to get a tee sign in support of our school. Tee signs will be displayed on the route and then hung outside the school so tee signs are also great advertising for local businesses. Please consider asking your local gymnastics place, the venue of your last children’s birthday party, your favorite restaurant and others to consider supporting us in this way. Tee signs can also show support of your children and their various milestones - communions, confirmations, graduations, CYO sports achievements, or to simply show support for your child’s grade. Please consider leading an effort to get a class sign and a few new sponsors. The following form can be used for tee signs.

Last, but certainly not least, we are using Giving Zone again to facilitate crowdfunding for the Walkathon. In approximately 24 hours since the link went live, we have one student already having raised over $800 single handedly just through sharing with family, friends, coworkers, etc. A child’s page may be shared via text, email and social media. It’s so easy and the results cannot be beat. Please encourage your classmates to participate and help make the Walkathon a huge success! The following link may be used to find your child’s page.
